The 30 metre sailing yacht Solaia has been sold with Manfred Haas at Haas International representing both the buyer and seller.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Doug Peterson, she was delivered in 1996 as a ketch rigged Jongert 30T model and was subject to a full interior refit in 2004. MCA compliant, she has a classic interior by Peter Sijm accommodating six guests in three cabins aft of the engine room consisting of a master suite including a sofa and television screen plus two twins, and all cabins have full entertainment systems including television screens and are fitted with en suite shower facilities. In addition, there are crew quarters for four in two bunk bedded cabins, each with an en suite shower room. The galley is set to starboard with a dinette area for the crew to port.

A large and comfortable main saloon comes with seating and a dining area to starboard, and a bar and entertainment centre including a large television screen.

Deck spaces are excellent, offering seating and al fresco dining aft of the steering cockpit and an extended swimming platform for the storage of water toys. Solaia has an impressive cruising record, having sailed the waters of the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Mexico and New England and would be an ideal choice for a charter yacht.

Fitted with a new set of Halsey Lidgard sails in 2004, her 300hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed under power of 10 knots.

Lying in Palma de Mallorca, Spain,Solaia was asking €3.2 million.
