Lürssen superyacht Ester III sold

The spectacular 66 metre motor yacht Ester III, listed for sale by David Legrand at Fraser Yachts, has been sold with Burgess introducing the buyer.

Designed by Espen Øino, she was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Lürssen to Lloyds class with delivery in 2014. A classically elegant interior by Reymond Langton accommodates 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite on the main deck, three doubles and two twins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there is accommodation for 17 crew in nine cabins.

The expansive main saloon has an ornate fireplace and two large settees facing an entertainment centre including an 85-inch television screen and a Dolby stereo surround sound system. There is also a dedicated formal dining area with seating for up to 14 guests.

The main deck aft has built-in sun bed areas around an infinity pool and also has comfortable integrated seating areas located forward of the pool, partially shaded from above by the bridge deck overhead.

Up in the sky lounge is a large settee, two armchairs, a games table, a concealed 108-inch Panasonic television screen and a bar with a fridge and ice maker.

The sun deck offers U-shaped seating aft in front of a retractable outdoor cinema while in the centre is more seating, a fully equipped bar, barbecue grill, fridge, ice maker and a drop-down television screen.

Further features include a helideck, an elevator that provides quick access from the guest accommodation to the sun deck, and a spa centre with a gym. Twin 2,039hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers.

Lying in Gibraltar, Ester III was asking €79.5 million.
