So, just how many brokers does it take to sell a 52m Benetti? Five, in the case of the just-completed Midlandia _transaction. Merle Wood and Peter Croke of Merle Wood & Associates and Chris Cecil-Wright of Edmiston & Company were joint central agents for her sale, while Peter Thompson of Ocean Independence and John Cohen, again of Merle Wood & Associates, introduced the buyer. Launched in 2001, _Midlandia _accommodates 12 guests in a master, VIP, two doubles and two twins and her full displacement hull cruises at 15 knots. Now renamed _Quantum of Solace, which should tell you all you need to know about the new owner, she was asking €19.95 million.
