A new-build 36 metre explorer motor yacht has been sold by brokers Arcon Yachts at Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche.

To be built in steel and aluminium by CdM as a 118’ Acciaio model, delivery to her new owner is scheduled for early 2019. Designed by Hydrotec, the Acciaio 118’ has significantly increased sound proofing making the yacht incredibly silent and with great stability in all conditions, creating a tranquil cruising experience.

The standard layout can be configured to host six guest cabins across three decks with four crew cabins. The main deck houses a generous open plan lounge and dining saloon with the full beam owner cabin situated forward. A large sun deck will offer all the necessities for outdoor relaxation, including a custom Jacuzzi spa tub, bar, sun pads and a hard top to allow a sheltered area for dining.

The 350 GRT vessel will utilise a high performance full displacement hull, with a bulbous bow, full midship section and smooth, flat aft sections.

Vasco Buonpensiere, sales and marketing director of Cantiere delle Marche comments: “Our clients come to us knowing that CdM is the only shipyard that has demonstrated repeatedly and consistently to be able to expand their way of thinking about yachting and to enable them to navigate their boats and live as they truly desire. CdM has finally eliminated the need to plan navigations on the basis of the boat's own limits.”
