A call to Alex Busher at Edmiston & Company brings the news that he and his colleague Jonathan Zwaans have signed a joint central agency with Francois van Well at Merle Wood & Associates for the sale of the new build 73.5m motor yacht Sapphire.
Currently under construction at Germany's Nobiskrug yard, this superyacht could be delivered as early as February/ March 2011, says Alex. Being built to Germanischer Lloyds class and MCA compliant, she will accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms with an interior designed by Newcruise and executed by Metrica. Sapphire also features zero speed stabilisers and a touch and go heli-pad, with twin 2360hp MTU engines giving her a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. The asking price is €75 million.
