On March 25th I reported that Benetti's 50m sailing yacht Blue Gold had been reduced to a 'final' asking price of €9.95 million at V-Yachting and now Frank de Visscher tells me that the owner's introduced a new wrinkle - you can buy a 75% share at €5.9 million.
Built in 1982 this three-deck superyacht ketch was rebuilt in Holland by RDM in 1999 and further refitted in 2009, offering accommodation for eight to ten guests. The largest sailing yacht built by Benetti, Blue Gold has a master suite on the main deck with a king size bed, walk in closets and an office with video conferencing and internet facilities.
