The new-build 50.2 metre Mangusta Project Starburst has been sold by Moran Yacht & Ship.

Currently under construction in GRP at Italian yard Overmarine to ABS class, she is the latest in the yard's Mangusta 165E series but boasts an upgraded power package which provides performance and comfort with higher fuel efficiency and stabilization while at anchor and underway. The new model will be powered by no fewer than four MTU 2000hp engines linked to quadruple KaMeWa water jets giving her a top speed of 35 knots, and will be fitted with Seakeeper gyro stabilisers.

The lower deck is divided into cabins for the owners and guests forward and crew quarters aft. The full-beam master suite with its broad bathroom is amidships, while three spacious en suite guest cabins with queen-sized beds are forward. An extra cabin can be created from the cinema, which is situated opposite a gym and dayhead with shower and steam room.

The Moran new construction team will supervise the build and delivery is due in Spring 2016.
