In build for a number of years at Derecktor, the nearly complete 45.5m fast modern sloop is now for sale, Rex Herbert at Sparkman & Stephens tells me.
Designed by German Frers with an interior by John Munford, Rex says her aluminum hull is now 90% complete and her interior is 85% ready, presently stored in four containers at the yard. Designed and built to ABS class and with MCA compliance in mind, Rex estimates it would take another 20 months to finish her. Offered on an as-is where-is basis, this project is asking $3.5 million.
