Price cut on Jongert sailing yacht Impression
by Malcolm Maclean
The 30 metre ketch rigged sailing yacht Impression, listed for sale by Manfred Haas at Haas International, has had a €200,000 price reduction
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Doug Peterson, she was delivered to her current owner in 1995 as a Jongert 26T model. An interior by Peter Sijm accommodates six guests in three cabins below deck aft consisting of a full-beam master suite and two half-beam twin cabins, all with en-suite shower facilities.
On deck, she features a raised helm and a seating area around the table aft of the mizzen mast. The spacious deckhouse, one of the most popular areas on board with a great view out of the large windows, is just a few steps away from the outside raised helm position and incorporates a dining table to port and the inside helm position with a separate navigation table to starboard. The deckhouse offers access to the large main saloon, incorporating an extendable dining table to starboard and a sociable bar to port. There is also a full entertainment centre incorporating a 32-inch Sony television screen with a Bose surround sound stereo system.
This yacht for sale has sun awnings for the bow, deck house and aft deck areas along with an additional simple dedicated awning for covering the seating area while sailing. Under power, a 299hp MTU diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 8 knots.
Manfred Haas comments: “Built to the highest standards, with many tried-and-tested features that have proven their value and reliability over decades, she is on the market for sale for the first time. She is a truly world class cruising yacht and carries heaps of spare parts on board.”
Impression is now asking €1,650,000.
