€1.5M price drop on superyacht I Nova
by Malcolm MacLean
The 49.8 metre motor yacht I Nova, listed for sale by Kevin Bonnie and Filip Jerolimov at IYC, has had a €1,500,000 price reduction.
Built by Greek yard Cosmo Explorer, she was delivered in 2013 with stunning interior design and exterior lines by Cristiano Gatto and went on to become a 2014 ShowBoats Design Awards winner for Best Interior.
ABS classed and MCA compliant, she accommodates up to 14 guests in six cabins consisting of a master suite arranged over two decks, two doubles and two twins, all with Pullman berths and all with full en suite bathroom facilities.
A true explorer yacht, she is extremely seaworthy with an ice-classed hull, able to visit all corners of the globe without any compromise on comfort or style. With a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots she is capable of undertaking long-range passages.
Cristiano Gatto took a nonconformist approach to the interior styling of this yacht for sale. His inventive use of diverse materials from 30,000-year-old kauri wood to woven bamboo panels, plus glass, metal and leather work well in terms of contrasting both their textures and their far-flung origins. In respect of the long passages and remote destinations the yacht is destined for, the interior is comfortable, calm and relaxing but with a fair amount of intrigue and visual stimulation brought forth in overheads and lighting.
Other features include an observation deck with gym equipment and a Jacuzzi.
Twin 1,050hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 15.6 knots.
I Nova is now asking €25,490,000.
