Price reduction on Heesen superyacht Matanthar at Inwards Marine

Robert Inwards at Inwards Marine tells me there's a €650,000 price cut on his listing for sale, the 30m aluminium motor yacht Matanthar.

Formerly known as Buka, Matanthar was built by Dutch superyacht yard Heesen to ABS class and launched in 2000. She was comprehensively refitted in 2008.

Matanthar incorporates a well planned and comfortable deck and internal layout for eight guests in four well appointed and spacious staterooms including a full beam master suite and a main deck VIP suite. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities. Ample deck spaces and a large flybridge create great spaces for relaxing or entertaining on board. Significantly, a shallow draft of just 1.8 metres allows access to all those sheltered coves and quiet harbours denied to larger craft.

Twin 1,800 hp MTU engines generate speeds up to 23 knots with an economic cruising speed of 14 knots, and Matanthar's berth in the South of France is also available by separate negotiation.

Matanthar is now down from €2.9 million to €2.25 million, tax paid.
