Sailing superyacht Onelilo listed for sale

The 36 metre sailing yacht Onelilo has been listed for sale by Jean Marie Recamier at Camper & Nicholsons.

Commissioned by the Fiat boss Giovanni Agnelli, she was custom built in aluminium by German yard Abeking & Rasmussen to a design by German Frers and delivered in 1988 as a fast performance sloop named Extra Beat. Often cited as the first modern sailing superyacht, her build saw several boundaries broken. She was the first aluminium light displacement yacht to carry a 32-ton keel and also the first to be fitted with such a large rudder built in titanium and carbon. Also, no boat had previously had the capacity to pump six tons of water from ballast tanks on one side of the yacht to the other within 60 seconds

Onelilo - yacht for sale with Camper & Nicholsons

This yacht for sale offers a spacious interior with accommodation for up to eight guests in three cabins consisting of an aft master suite and two doubles forward, both with Pullman berths and all with en suite facilities. In addition, there are berths for eight crew.

Extensive, uncluttered flush decks offer plenty of space for entertaining while in port al fresco dining is available in the cockpit. Under power, a single 360hp Iveco engine gives her a range of 1,400 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 10 knots.

Surprisingly for such a technically advanced yacht, Giovanni Agnelli used her primarily as a day sailer in the Mediterranean for seven years before commissioning her replacement, the even more technically advanced and faster 28.44 metre sailing yacht Stealth.

Onelilo is asking €3 million.
