Sailing yacht Gweilo now for sale with Yachtzoo

The 47.4 metre sailing yacht Gweilo has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale with Yachtzoo.

Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, she was built in cold moulded epoxied wood by Turkish yard Mengi-Yay to RINA class and delivered in 2009 as an elegant two masted schooner. MCA compliant, her interior, panelled in dark woods with rich fabrics, accommodates up to eight guests in three cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, VIP suite and a twin with two Pullman berths, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite shower facilities. In addition, there are quarters for seven crew aboard this yacht for sale.

In the main saloon is a central rotatable TV which can be viewed from either the large L-shaped sofa on the port side or the oval dining table on the starboard side. There are also two armchairs and a coffee table complementing this area.

The decks are spacious with sun beds for relaxing either on the aft deck or on top of the coach-roof and there is an uncluttered cockpit dining area with an expandable table which can seat up to nine people comfortably. The al fresco dining mood is enhanced by a small drinks fridge and an ice maker in front of the table.

Under power, a single 558hp Caterpillar diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots.

Lying in Fethiye, Turkey, Gweilo is asking €5,900,000.
