Good news from Cape4 Yachting that they've closed on their joint listing for sale with Van Der Vliet, the classic 38m motor yacht Sidarta, with Seahorse representing the buyer.

Built in steel and aluminium by Holland’s Haak yard, Sidarta was delivered in 1987.

This tri-deck motor yacht has the canoe stern beloved by classic yacht enthusiasts. The French designer Demarchy of Paris was consulted to incorporate the owners' wish for a classical décor with a sophisticated choice of materials and layout to produce an interior that is luxurious and elegant, comfortable and functional.

Sidarta's original interiors have been maintained to extremely high standards and are in as-new condition. She features an interior in warm Honduran mahogany by Struik & Hamerslag with flexible accommodation for up to 14 guests in six staterooms, configured as a master suite, VIP stateroom and four twin berth cabins. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities.

Twin 1,075hp Caterpillar engines give her an enormous range of 6,300 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.

Lying in Athens, Greece, Sidarta was asking €3.4 million.
