Now for something rather different on the market as Steve Martin at yachtBlue sends word that he's offering the 50.2m expedition/support motor yacht Perfect Life for sale.

Built in 1976 as an oil rig supply vessel, she spent nearly 20 years in this role before being transformed in the mid-nineties into the ultimate fishing and expedition superyacht. Formerly known as French Look and Holo Kai, her aft deck has a hydraulic launch system for a 41' sportsfisherman that currently holds 12 world fishing records. Perfect Life accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms and her twin 730hp Detroit Diesel engines give her an immense range of 15,000 nautical miles.

Available to view in Fort Lauderdale, Perfect Life is asking $4.85 million.
