At the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show Bob McKeage at International Yacht Collection told me he'd found a buyer for a major motor yacht and today he calls to say the deal has closed on the 54.2m Proteksan Turquoise Talisman C with the help of his colleague Michael Mahan.

Built in 2006 to a design by Dubois Naval Architects, Talisman C is ABS classed and has a proven record as a popular charter yacht, accommodating 12 guests in a full beam master suite on the main deck and a VIP stateroom, plus two double and two twin cabins. Fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilizers for ultimate comfort, this superyacht has a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Talisman C was asking €21.5 million. Generously, Bob pays fulsome tribute to the hard-working team at listing broker Burgess who did so much to facilitate the deal. Indeed, Burgess supervised the construction, has had her under operational management since new and has now signed her for management under her new ownership.
