Boat International Media is delighted to partner once again with Swarovski, Gold Sponsor of the Superyacht Design Symposium, 22-24 February 2015.

Now in its seventh edition, the Superyacht Design Symposium continues to draw some of the biggest names in the industry for two days of lively interactive presentation and debate about prevalent issues in superyacht design. This event is an unparalleled platform for networking and sharing knowledge and ideas with the superyacht industry’s most influential figures. It is also the perfect opportunity for Swarovski to showcase a collection of its beautiful, innovative products to an esteemed audience of superyacht owners and design professionals.

Swarovski Surface Collection

Guests of the Superyacht Design Symposium are invited to experience the Swarovski Surface Collection – the dazzling outcome of a creative partnership with British naval architect Martin Francis.

Its tactile sensuousness and lyrical power are testament to Swarovski crystals’ potential for playing with light, reflections and colour, lending sophisticated refinement to a variety of interior spaces.

In addition to his iconic yacht designs, Martin Francis is well known for his glass engineering, with previous projects including the Louvre pyramid in Paris. It was a natural expansion of the Swarovski Surface Collection to embrace glass as a material. The use of various glass surfaces including satin glass, transparent glass, mirrored glass and black glass adorned with Swarovski crystals offers many new decorative effects and possibilities.

Swarovski offers guests of the Superyacht Design Symposium the opportunity to discuss ideas and current projects with their technical experts on site.

Swarovski Optik

By focusing on highest optical performance, functional innovation and cutting-edge design, Swarovski Optik has successfully carved its position as the premium brand in its sector.

Today, the outstanding performance of Swarovski Optik products no longer serve only professional users – ranging from fire lookouts in Canadian forests, researchers in the Antarctic, air controllers and hunters – but anyone requiring absolute reliability and precision. The functional advantages of these professional, high-end devices are increasingly being discovered by bird watchers, hikers and all those who enjoy observing the wonders of nature in their recreation time. A range of the Swarovski Optik products will be on display at the Symposium, and guests are encouraged to experience the wonder of these products for themselves.

Attendees of the Symposium will have the rare opportunity to try out Swarovski optical products.
