Tamsen motor yacht Namaste sold

The 40 metre motor yacht Namaste was sold in October 2014 and now David Legrand at Fraser Yachts has sold her again, acting for both buyer and seller.

One of only two yachts of this design, the sleek, RINA classed cruiser with a distinctive cappucino coloured hull was with her original owner since she was delivered by Turkey's Tamsen Yachts in 2008. He carried out a rolling programme of upgrades: one reason why Namaste has proved such a popular charter vessel over the years. Another is that the deck areas and interior spaces suggest a much larger vessel than her stats suggest – the 2.47 metre headroom in the main saloon surpasses many recent launches over 50 metres, for example.

Living quarters are serene, with natural woods, cream and soft brown leathers and fabrics, and oriental features providing a decor style best described as contemporary Asian. Huge windows and large glass panels in the ceilings and floors, plus an opening skylight in the upper lounge, flood the interior with light. Spaces are generous for 12 guests in five cabins: a master suite, two doubles and two twins plus two Pullman berths. All cabins have full en suite bathrooms.

Of the several outdoor spaces, the foredeck is particularly impressive. A comfortable lounging and dining area with the yacht's jacuzzi, this area offers fabulous unobstructed views yet also privacy from the quay when in port.
