Hearing that the hull of the 65m new build motor yacht Tankoa C102 has been lengthened to 69 metres I call her listing agent Charles Ehrardt at Camper & Nicholsons to find out more.

Charles explains that the new length will accommodate an extensive beach club and what's more, there will be a large MCA-approved glass door in the stern to flood the beach club with daylight.

Currently under construction at Genoa's Tankoa Yachts yard in steel and aluminium to a design by Francesco Paszkowski, she's being built to joint Lloyds and RINA class with MCA compliancy. The Tankoa C102 will be delivered in 2013, allowing a new owner time to customise the interior layout and decor to individual taste.

Accommodation is designed to sleep 12 guests in six cabins, including an owner’s suite on the upper deck and five double staterooms on the main deck.

With an eye on long-range cruising, Tankoa C102 will have twin 2480hp Caterpillar engines giving a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. In view of her new length there's been a €4 million increase in her price and the new asking price is €52 million.
