DESCRIPTION

Balboa for sale

Balboa is a 42.2m motor yacht and is ready and waiting for a new owner to complete the conversion of this North Sea trawler to a world class expedition superyacht. The current owners have decided to halt the conversion plans and put the ship on the market. Much work has been completed to make the ship ready for the project.

The work includes removing all insulation in the fish hold; remove fishing gear, winches and masting, removing the rubbing strakes, eliminating all direct current equipment that was needed to power the winches, removing two generators to make room for smaller units. She is planned to have six cabins and a single 2000hp Deutz engine will give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Detailed plans, drawings and renderings are available.
