Designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder, hull built by Jongert, with the interior finished by Lowland, GLORIA enjoys an impeccable pedigree, which is enhanced by the original owner’s request that she should be a modern incarnation of the famous 1936 A. Mylne designed schooner, Panda. GLORIA is a staysail schooner with in mast and roller furling on all working sails, and power selftailing winches for all sheets. This versatile rig allows efficient sail handling with a small crew, providing powerful and exhilarating performance in any wind conditions.
GLORIA is built in steel with mahogany clad aluminum superstructures, and aluminum masts and booms. Her interior furnishings and joiner work are rendered in the highest quality mahogany, and features intricate moldings, leaded glass doors, handsome cabinetry, and flawless finishes.
GLORIA has luxurious accommodations for eight owners and guests in four ensuite staterooms, and for up to five crew in three cabins.
GLORIA has enjoyed well known and generous owners during her life. Her recent refit works include new decks (2012), new paint (2014) and all new standing rigging
