The 142-foot (43.28m) custom luxury yacht LADY BEE, for sale with Northrop & Johnson, was built to order for an experienced American yachtsman looking for increased accommodation, expansive exterior areas and unhindered access to the water via a cockpit and newly created ocean terrace.
In 1995, Christensen launched LADY BEE (ex-NAMOH), setting the bar for U.S. yacht construction. LADY BEE was the first 142-foot U.S. yacht to have a six-stateroom layout and was the first U.S. yacht to have an elevator and innovative ocean terrace transom. LADY BEE has benefitted from consistent maintenance throughout her life. Throughout the past three years, she has received new furniture, soft goods, carpets, LED lighting throughout, new HD TV’s throughout, iPad systems controllers, new laundry appliances, updated galley appliances, new Nautical Structures davits, new or renewed teak decks, new waste treatment system, new air conditioning system, new paint and many other upgrades.
LADY BEE is a water lover’s dream yacht. She features impressive exterior decks, offering both sun-kissed spaces and protective shade. The main deck aft has a J-shaped bar with four stools, a large pedestal table with seating for alfresco dining and is an excellent place to entertain. Stairs to port and starboard access the ocean terrace, which not only is an attractive feature, but also easily accesses the large, bi-level deck area and integral swim platform with transformer passarelle — ideal for watersports activities.
LADY BEE’s sundeck is spacious for a yacht of her size. It is fully equipped with a helm station, oversized Jacuzzi, a barbecue and C-shaped settee with access down to the boat deck on the starboard side. The foredeck has a sunpad and settee for guests to enjoy.
LADY BEE has a lovely, spacious interior. Her main salon is finished in glossed ebony with large, floor-to-ceiling windows. Relax on couches, settees and chairs around a glass coffee table facing the entertainment center. On the aft bulkhead is a game table with two chairs. The formal dining salon is forward, offering seating for 12 at the custom table, separated from the salon by an entertainment center.
LADY BEE’s skylounge is arranged with an L-shaped sofa around a cocktail table and offers wonderful visibility through large windows and a curved, stainless steel glass bulkhead aft. There is a 72-inch flat-screen TV and entertainment center.
LADY BEE has six resplendent cabins catering up to 12 guests. Forward, the full-beam master stateroom has a walk-around king-size bed and his-and-hers bathrooms. Five additional staterooms, four doubles and one twin, offer guests ultimate comfort and timeless styling.
