More seriously for sale superyachts: seven keen spring sellers

To paraphrase an old adage: in the spring a man's fancy turns to which boat he'll be cruising on next summer. With the early boat shows in full swing, there's a wealth of opportunities out there and here we present seven superyachts with sellers keen to do deals.

Galaxia 1997 52.27m $22 million

Launched in 1997, Galaxia (ex Liberty) is an iconic Perini Navi which has always been a popular and highly successful charter yacht. Her warm, elegant interior, well-appointed forward cockpit, on-deck spa pool and impressive range of water sports equipment make her stand out from the crowd, while her 10 guest/10 crew ratio ensures the perfect charter experience. Galaxia has just come on the market for sale at Yachting Partners International.

Fitted with the very latest entertainment and communications systems following her extensive refit in 2006-7, Galaxia has a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots.

'Simply put, she raised the standard for all sailing yachts to come,' says her YPI Sales & New Construction broker, Matt Albert.

Mondango 2008 51.77m 27.9 million

Mondango is a 51.7m sailing ketch built for extensive blue water cruising and is the fifth yacht over 50m built by Alloy Yachts. She continues a progression of large flybridge yachts and displays clean lines, with a near plumb bow, subtle sheer and low profile coachroof.

A relaxed interior by Reymond Langton accommodates 10 guests in five cabins.

Her broker, Toby Walker at Dubois Yachts, comments: 'Like many repeat clients, the owners have enjoyed Mondango so much they have commissioned a larger yacht designed by Dubois. They are now looking to focus solely on the new project, and are ready to conclude the sale of the current Mondango for her next lucky owner to enjoy and appreciate.'

Destination Fox Harb'r Too 2008 49.07m $23 million

Destination Fox Harb'r Too is an all-aluminium semi displacement motor yacht delivered by Trinity in 2008 with interior design by Patrick Knowles.

Zoom Zoom Zoom 2005 49.07m $22.4 million

The 49.07m motor yacht Zoom Zoom Zoom is considered to be one of the fastest conventionally powered motor yachts of her size ever built in the United States. Built by Trinity yachts in 2005, she is capable of a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Zoom Zoom Zoom can accommodate a party of 10 in five spaciously planned cabins with en suite baths exquisitely finished in mahogany. Each of the guest cabins is located below deck. The full beam master suite incorporates an unusual split level design and over nine feet of headroom.

Shalimar 1994 36m $4.95 million

Built by Azimut in 1994, Shalimar is a tri-deck raised pilothouse yacht with a large open aft deck. Accommodation is for 10 guests in a master suite on deck plus four further cabins, while twin 2,610hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots.
