Admiral Tecnomar USA, the Italian superyacht builder's US-based representative, has announced the sale of a new build 37m Admiral Impero RPH superyacht.

The director of Admiral Tecnomar USA, Barin Cardenas, announced the sale, which is the second Admiral yacht sale for Cardenas and comes on the heels of the official launch of Admiral Tecnomar USA taking place October 2013 during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The newly signed contract marks the third order in the aluminium, semi-displacement Impero series. The design comes from Luca Dini in collaboration with Admiral's in-house design team, Centro Stile. The 37m Impero superyacht is defined by her sharp lines, vertical bow, large volume, panoramic windows, and, of course, raised pilothouse design.

'This is our third Impero, and what's interesting is they are all family boats,' Cardenas says. Each of the three Imperos have been ordered for private use for families rather than for charter, though many of the features that make the yachts attractive to families – dual master staterooms and the open plan layouts – is what Cardenas attributes to attracting families.

This new Impero 37m will be based in the US. The owner had a few requests that set her apart from her predecessors in the series. For one, the sauna will be replaced by additional crew accommodations so she can carry more crew. The sun deck also forgoes a spa pool and has been reconfigured with modular furniture so it can be transformed easily based on the owner's needs, whether for relaxing with family or entertaining friends.

The latest Admiral Tecnomar Impero 37 RPH superyacht is on track for a spring 2016 delivery.
