Italian yard C.Boat recently launched its latest vessel, the all steel 27Sc-S, at Porto Piccolo Sistiana, near Trieste.

C.Boat said that the 28.1 metre yacht continues the tradition of all the yachts to emerge from its Udine-based yard, founded in 2007 by Mauro Corvisieri, in that it "combines the elegance of a luxurious villa allied with the robustness of a working vessel".

One of the standout features of the three-decked 27Sc-S is the brightness and abundance of natural light due to the large windows.

The entire lower deck is given over to sleeping quarters. It features five cabins that comprise the owner’s suite, two VIP staterooms, two standard cabins with bunk beds. Each room is equipped with a private bath and separate shower. Aft is the crew area consisting of the captain and staff cabins, each with separate bathrooms. Following from this are the service and laundry areas.

The main deck includes the saloon, dining area, galley and bridge. Outside there is an aft dining area and a large swim platform equipped with hydraulic OPAC mare transformer, which allows an easy sea access to the tender. There is access on all sides to the flybridge, which features a sundeck, dining area and kitchen, plus a controls platform for external navigation of the boat. There is also a large sundeck in the bow area, accessed by the side decks.

A notable feature of the 27Sc-S is her extra wide passages and in the main deck living area a chaise-longue has been arranged which, if needs be, can be transformed into a bed, suited to the needs of reduced mobility users.

The 27Sc-S has thermal insulation and soundproofing to help limit heat loss and reduce transmission of noise and vibration.

C.Boat’s philosophy of functionality and reliability come into play with the V-hull, which, with a thickness of 12mm in the keel, helps to provide fuel efficiency with that sees an average consumption of 90 litres per hour. The 27Sc-S is possessed of two Caterpillar C18 875 CV engines and has a cruising speed of 10 knots, topping out at 12.5.

C.Boat has confirmed the 27Sc–S has obtained the exclusive Green Plus Platinum certification issued by RINA, the highest award in terms of ecology and sustainability in the nautical field, and that 95 per cent of the boat is recyclable.

As with all C.Boat models, the furnishings were made entirely by the yard to the owner’s specific requirements.
