Cheoy Lee has launched their hull 5016 a couple of weeks ago, a new expedition yacht from their Serenity 90 series.

The Serenity 90 series has a length of 28.17m. Her naval architecture and exterior styling is by Tom Fexas Yacht Design and her interior layout accommodates 12 guests in a master, a VIP , a convertible skylounge into a double, and two twin cabins plus two Pullman berths.

Like many expedition yachts, the foredeck is large enough to house tenders and toys. On the technical side, the fuel capacity (18,360 litres) combined with two economical Caterpillar C18 engines of 600hp each allow a long range of up to 4,500 nautical miles.

Purchased by a repeat client of the yard, the Cheoy Lee 5016 will be delivered in early 2011. Her maiden voyage will take her from Hong Kong to Adelaide, Australia.
