Nautor's Swan has announced the sale of its fourth Swan 115 sailing superyacht, this one a Flush Deck version.
Impressively, the latest order comes only six months after the announcement for the first Swan 115 S, a semi-raised saloon version, which is scheduled to set sail next summer from Northern Finland. The 35.2-metre Swan 115 is the Finnish builder's flagship yacht. CEO Enrico Chieffi cites a steady recovery in the larger sailing yacht market over the past year, with the sale of Swan 115 hull No 4 pointing to this trend. 'We are successfully selling important boats, and this is the reward of Nautor’s Swan strong strategic plan,' Chieffi says. 'Based on a solid business model and guided by Mr Ferragamo’s vision for brands, our plan is based on three core elements: product development, commercial growth and dedicated customer care programme.'
She features design by German Frers and has been designed for bluewater and long-distance cruising. The Swan 115 is available in two versions: a flush deck (FD) model that has a sportier appearance and is favoured for racing and a semi-raised saloon (S) model.
Nautor's Swan now has four of its 115s in build at its facility in Pietarsaari, Finland. Swan 115-004 is scheduled for delivery in 2016. The builder also launched a performance cruising range this year comprising a Swan 60, 80 and 105 RS model. Finally, a new top-secret model is in development and will be announced this September.
