M57 Eidos superyacht project update from Mondo Marine

The Venetian designer Enrico Gobbi has penned a 57m Mondo Marine motor yacht that reveals how modern owners aspire to use their boats. With an asking price of €35 million, this superyacht has a 28 month delivery period.

The M57 Eidos design incorporates features increasingly requested by clients of Italian yard Mondo Marine, including length – just under 60m – a layout focussed on owner accommodation and outdoor space, plus a chic, unshowy exterior style. “The lines of the yacht are a subtle balance of edges and curves, with natural influences,” says Gobbi, owner of Team For Design. “For example the fin-like aft parts of each deck and the shape of the flydeck hardtop, like a stingray.”

Inside, the main deck owner’s suite includes a private saloon almost as large as the cabin. There's a huge 8m side terrace that gives a unique floor to ceiling panoramic view for the length of the room. The main aft deck has a showstopping spa pool with a glass panel aft, while the lower deck beach club boasts a fold-down platform and bar. The use of glass also defines M57, with huge windows throughout and glass side panels on the flydeck to offer both views and wind protection.

"The designer’s distinctive mark is evident throughout the broad use window surfaces that guarantee a constant dialogue between interior and exterior areas. Long windows upon continuous superstructure surfaces convey to the yacht a very sleek looking profile, typical of Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design’s projects," said a spokesperson.

The yacht was designed on spec but has been been developed to a ready-to-build status with Arrabito Naval Architects.
