New 63m explorer motor yacht ordered at Hakvoort

The Dutch yard Hakvoort has announced a new order for a 63.33 metre explorer motor yacht.

Designed by René van der Velden, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, this yacht is currently known under the project name Zeus (hull number YN249) and will be the largest built by Hakvoort.

Built in steel and aluminium, she will be powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C engines giving a top speed of 14.8 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots.

Zeus was sold in close co-operation with Moran Yacht & Ship. She is scheduled for a delivery in March 2017.
