Numarine has sold the first hull in its 24XP explorer yacht range to a repeat client. Delivery has been scheduled for 2018.
The Numarine 24XP is part of the explorer series that includes the 40XP and 32XP. This series is designed to allow owners to go anywhere in the world, but the benefit of the 24 metre 24XP is that it offers the convenience of being able to berth in some of the smaller, more remote locations.
Designed by Can Yalman, the 24XP will be built in GRP and powered by two 2400hp MAN diesel engines. The Numarine 24XP is expected to hit a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Her range is currently unknown, although the other yachts in the Numarine explorer range are both capable of more than 3,000nm.
No details of her interior styling have been released, but we can see from general arrangements that the main saloon will have a u-shaped sofa and space for eight to dine at a table. Her lower deck accommodates eight in a master suite, VIP cabin and two twin cabins.
Her outside areas include comfortable seating on the upper deck, much of which is given to accommodate the tender, with a bar amidships. On the main deck aft lies a coffee table with a sofa and three seats and another sofa nestled in the bow
“We are very pleased about the sale of unit no.1 of the new 24XP to a loyal Numarine client buying his fourth boat from the yard,” said sales and marketing director Antonio Caviglia. “Interior volumes will be extremely generous, with four ensuite cabins, a main saloon worthy of a yacht over 27 metres, and of course a fantastic flybridge that even allows to position a 5+ meter tender on board.”
