Perini Navi has announced the sale of another yacht in its 60 metre series.
In fact, this is the second sale of hull number three, C.2232, in the Italian builder’s 60 metre bluewater sailing yacht series. She has been resold to an avid and experienced yacht owner. Delivery is scheduled for 2017.
The 60m is designed to achieve peak performance and also be comfortable for bluewater cruising, while measuring in with an enclosed gross tonnage of less than 500GT.
Like her predecessors, the all-aluminium C.2232 has a sleek hull and superstructure. Her naval architecture comes from the in-house Perini Navi Design Team, in collaboration with yacht designer Ron Holland.
Two Panamax aluminium masts – dressed with carbon-fibre rigging, booms and spreaders – will carry more than 2,000 square metres of sail. Sailing performance is enhanced by the power and speed built into the latest Perini Navi Sail Handling Technology. A performance-oriented centreboard keel affords accessibility to shallow waters.
Perini Navi has reported that they also have another 60 metre ketch-rigged yacht, hull number C.2239, currently in build on spec. Also in build is a 70 metre ketch, Project Sybaris, and a 38 metre sloop C.2130.
