It is less than a month before Italian superyacht builder CRN, part of the Ferretti Group, will launch its new 60m steel-and-aluminium custom superyacht, CRN 133.

CRN hull No 133 is scheduled to launch at the Ancona, Italy, shipyard during a private ceremony on 1 March, 2014. The megayacht was recently moved with the help of a hydraulic travel lift (pictured above) over to the slipway. Pre-launching operations will take place on this inclined surface while work on the interiors will also continue.

CRN 133's exterior design and interior layout is the work of superyacht designer Francesco Paszkowski, working in collaboration with the CRN Technical Department, with the in house team responsible for the naval architecture. Paszkowski has given the yacht a streamlined, sleek profile with sharp exterior lines. The interior design comes from the CRN Design Department in collaboration with the owner's designer.

In addition to the 60m hull No 133, CRN currently has five other vessels underway. These include three steel and aluminium megayachts: the 74m CRN 131, designed by Studio Zuccon International Project; the 73m CRN 132, designed by Omega Architects; the 55m Nuvolari-Lenard designed CRN 134; along with the Ferretti Custom Line CL 124 and Riva's new flagship, the all aluminium Riva 122 Mythos.
