Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has announced that it has signed a joint venture with Chinese group Sundiro Holding to build a range of 10m to 20m Sanlorenzo boats in China.

Sanlorenzo maintains a majority share in the company and will use this joint venture to increase brand awareness in the emerging Chinese market. 'The joint venture with Sundiro Holding,' says Sanlorenzo's Chairman, Massimo Perotti,'represents a very innovative agreement for the entire international nautical market, in which Sanlorenzo, a long-term icon of "Made-in-Italy luxury," signed a business partnership with an important Chinese group, keeping in Italy both the ownership and the production sites.'
