The second Numarine 24XP explorer yacht has been sold in an in-house deal with Russian dealer Burevstnik Group introducing the buyer.

Due to be delivered in 2018, the sale comes just six months after Numarine sold the first 24XP explorer yacht. The Turkish yard made the announcement earlier this month at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which also saw the sale of the seventh hull in the Numarine 60 series of fast-planing yachts.

The second Numarine 24XP will be fitted with twin 1,200hp MAN engines

Due to be built from a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure to a design by Can Yalman, the tri-deck Numarine 24XP measures 25.2 metres LOA. Key features include an expansive superyacht sundeck, which boasts a central cocktail bar and enough storage space for a five metre tender.

On the main deck, the Numarine 24XP’s saloon features a U-shaped sofa and a separate dining area that allows all eight guests to enjoy a meal together. Accommodation below decks is split between a master suite, VIP cabin, twin cabin and double cabin, while the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to four people.

Power will come from a pair of 1,200hp MAN engines for a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Numarine has yet to reveal the 24XP’s maximum cruising range, however this compact explorer yacht will be built to CE Category A for ocean cruising.

Other projects under development at the Turkish yard include the first Numarine 32XP, which is currently under construction in Istanbul ahead of a planned 2017 launch.
