Sunreef announces three major superyacht catamaran orders

Good news comes from Sunreef Yachts this morning with the announcement of three new superyacht catamaran orders signed during the last three weeks.

Each of these three new projects exceed 24 metres: a Sunreef 80 Carbon Line, a Sunreef 82 Double Deck and a 90 Sunreef Power.

The first order is for a Sunreef 82 Double Deck. This new 25m catamaran will be the second of the series, which started with Houbara. Delivered in 2012, she boasted a voluminous interior. The second hull will have a flexible mast to reduce her air draft by 10 metres. Scheduled for a launch in December, she will be delivered to her Middle East owner at the end of 2013.

The smaller project in this series of new orders will be the second hull of the Sunreef 80 Carbon Line. The first hull of this 24.38m composite line was launched last week, and will make her debut at the coming Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes in September. The second hull will be delivered to her American owners in May 2014.

The last new order is for the first 90 Sunreef Power. With a length of 25.9m, she will become the flagship in the Sunreef Power series. She offers 522sqm living space spread out over three decks. This first hull is destinated to cruise Thailand waters, and her delivery date is set to early 2015.

With these three major orders, Sunreef Yachts is primed to keep its leadership position on the multihulls market. And future larger concepts are already on the board, such as the 64m trimaran and a 50m sailing catamaran, which will be revealed more in more detail during the next Monaco Yacht Show.
