2011 will go down as a key year for Turkish yard Peri Yachts with the delivery of its flagship, the Peri 41T, the launch of the fifth Peri 29, and now the launch of its second Peri 37.

Sistership of Ludy launched in 2008, this new Peri 37 is called Hakuna Matata. She is RINA Charter classed and MCA compliant, with a length of 37.75 metres. The naval architecture and engineering of this planing hull were developed by Dixon Yacht Design and High Modulus, while her general styling comes from Scaro Design.

Also designed by Scaro Design, her interior accommodates 10 guests in a generously sized full-beam master on the main deck, and two VIPs and two twin cabins on the lower deck.

Built in composite, Hakuna Matata has a light displacement offering good performance, with speeds topping 22 knots thanks to twin 2,150hp MTU engines.

Hakuna Matata is starting her sea trials, and will be delivered before the end of the year.
