Superyacht Meridian returns to ICON Yachts for conversion

The 62.5m motor yacht Meridian, delivered in 2012 as Maidelle by the ICON yard in Holland, has returned to the yard for a conversion project.

The major reason for the return to the yard will be a conversion of the observation lounge on the forward upper deck into a second master suite. The project has been planned over the last ten weeks and work is well underway with the final interior installation.

Her captain reports 'Meridian is a truly well engineered yacht from the operational viewpoint, with easy accessibility for maintenance and cleaning.'

Meridian's exterior styling is by Redman Whiteley Dixon Design with a tasteful interior design from Cristiano Gatto. A key factor in the layout was the owner’s desire to create large entertainment areas, both formal and informal, to share with his guests, and also reflects his need to allow himself spacious room for family privacy.

Lloyd’s registered and MCA compliant, Meridian is decorated with a special range of woods, including mahogany, rosewood, ebony and walnut canaletto, all with a gloss finish.

Meridian will head to the Far East after the interior modifications are complete in October.
