Of course prolific yacht owner Lord Irvine Laidlaw – winner of the Legacy Award during the World Superyacht Awards 2015 – will have one of the best superyacht bathrooms. Case in point, the lushly appointed bathroom in his Feadship superyacht Lady Christine, which even features a marble surrounded shower stall.
The bathroom in the Baglietto 46 metre superyacht, the new breed of displacement yachts from Baglietto, has a ultra-chic bathroom that might give you double vision. With double everything – sinks, stalls, etc. – it's an ideal en suite for two. The clean, minimalist design makes it one of the best superyacht bathrooms we've seen.
The exquisite use of wood on Dunia Baru, a traditional Phinisi style charter yacht operating in Indonesia, makes this one of the best superyacht bathrooms. It feels like a superyacht spa oasis stepping into this natural wood decorated retreat.
Feadship superyacht Como, now renamed Lady May, has one of the best guest superyacht bathrooms around. What makes this bathroom so clever is how she stretches across the beam of the yacht – a rarity on a guest bathroom – and further makes excellent use of the space of allotted with white materials, glass enclosures and lots of mirrors to make the en suite feel even larger.
The CRN superyacht Saramour, launched in 2014, has one of the best superyacht bathrooms due to its very cool shower. Placed in the centre of the room, the shower is entirely enclosed by glass, and the door cleverly pivots open to give access. For those who favour privacy, it might not be the ideal en suite design, but this bathroom racks up major cool points in our book.
