Cantiere delle Marche have announced that they've signed a contract to build another 29.5m Darwin Class explorer motor for a South American client introduced by Alex Clarke at Denison Yacht Sales.

Designed by Sergio Cutolo, she is a near-sistership of Stella di Mare, launched in March 2013 but differs in several details, in that she will have larger windows in the main and upper deck saloons, a sleeker bow and, instead of MTU engines, will have twin Caterpillar 680hp units giving her a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. Cantiere delle Marche currently has six yachts under construction for delivery in 2014 and 2015.

Vasco Buonpensiere, Sales and Marketing Director of CdM, says: ‘It is incredible how, once again, the decision and sale process has been fast, smooth and enjoyable on both sides’. He explains: ‘In only twelve weeks from the first meeting with the client in Fort Lauderdale we have completed this deal, customising the technical specifications matching the client’s needs, negotiating the contract giving the client all the comfort and securities needed, and drawing a preliminary General Arrangement following a very precise initial brief’

The new 29.5m Darwin Class explorer yacht is due for delivery in 2015.
