5 reasons to buy Mondomarine superyacht Okko

Her voluminous interior

With beautiful symmetrical lines and luxurious interiors, 40.8 metre Okko is currently listed for sale with Imperial Yachts and will be on display at both the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show. Take a peek inside to discover why she could be the perfect vessel for you…

Delivered in 2012 by Mondomarine, Okko was built as one of the Italian yard’s popular 41 metre tri-deck series but was approached like a custom new build. From the waterline up Okko’s look is distinctly her own, with changes made to her superstructure and layout that allow for a greater interior volume than her sister ships.

She offers generous accommodation for up to 12 guests in five en suite cabins, comprising a full-beam master suite on the main deck, complete with his and hers dressing rooms, as well as two VIP cabins on the lower deck and two twins with an additional Pullman bed in each. Guests are catered to by a crew of eight.

Her superb deck spaces

Designed with outdoor living in mind, external spaces offer al fresco dining for 12 guests with large lounging areas, including an enormous full beam sofa aft, and a fully equipped bar on each deck.

Lazy afternoons are best spent on Okko’s panoramic sundeck – perfect for a spot of sun soaking. Sunpads surround an aft Jacuzzi, while a BBQ, forward seating area and bar mean guests can kick back with a cocktail in hand. In the middle, a cleverly designed dining table is semi-protected thanks to sliding doors, allowing guests to enjoy the incredible sea views while underway.

For added ambience at night, she is fitted with dimmable lights as well as multi-coloured LED underwater lighting that illuminates her hull.

Her luxe Giorgio Vafiadis interiors

Designed by Giorgio Vafiadis, Okko is as stylish on the inside as she is on the outside. Her interiors exude elegance with a combination of classic and contemporary styling. Muted tones compliment luxurious materials and rich textures throughout the yacht with Galuchat leather sofas, suede ceilings and walls adorned with golden and tobacco-tinged Frakè wood panels finished with a high gloss.

The main saloon is bright and spacious with a large U-shaped sofa, table and chairs, and an adjoining dining room that seats 12. Above, the upper deck saloon features custom-designed furniture as well as statement pieces and soft furnishings from Fendi and IPE Cavalli - hallmarks of fine Italian design. Meanwhile, blackout curtains turn the space into the ultimate on-water cinema experience.

She’s quiet and comfortable

While luxury and comfort don’t always go hand in hand, Okko marries the two with ease. In her design, particular attention has been paid to prevent noise and vibration by soft-mounting all the floors and ceilings on rubber and extending this concept to the bulkheads.

She is also fitted with zero speed Naiad 525 stabilisers which ensure maximum comfort both at anchor and underway.

Her array of water toys

With a great selection of water toys there’s something for everyone on board Okko, including two Sea Doos and Seabobs for exploring secluded bays, a Henshaw water pool, and two inflatable paddleboards. Thrill seekers can head out on a range of towables for an afternoon of high-powered fun.

Okko is a contemporary and thoughtfully designed yacht with proven charter potential, and is certainly an opportunity not to be missed. Listed for sale with Imperial Yachts with price on application, she will be on display at both Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show.
