Self-confessed reformed petrolhead Alex Bamberg inadvertently found himself at the forefront of developing the UK’s automotive electric charging infrastructure. Utilising the lessons he learnt from the car world, he is now set on developing a global electric marine charging network, Aqua Superpower, to facilitate and encourage the use of electric boats.
He spoke to Sophia Wilson at Cannes Yachting Festival about his path to Aqua Superpower, the brand’s strategy and investment plan, and why he believes the marine world is ready for an electric revolution.
