La Datcha

Stats: 77 metres, Damen, 2020, 12 guests, 25 crew

Spanning six decks and built to conquer the coldest regions on earth, La Datcha is the ultimate adventure charter for adventure-seeking guests.

Described by Damen as a "crossover of superyacht quality and finish with serious capability", her ice-classed hull makes traversing polar regions a breeze and she can maintain autonomy for up to 40 days at sea.

A serious explorer requires some serious equipment, and La Datcha is kitted out with a treasure trove of toys and tenders including two commercially certified helicopters, two snow scooters, two expedition RIBs, two beach lander tenders, and a three-person submarine.

Those chartering in the polar regions can seek refuge from the cold in the wellness centre and warm up in the Turkish Hammam, or slip into the Jacuzzi on deck. Alternatively, an invigorating shower beneath La Datcha's ice fountain is the best way too cool off in warmer weather.

La Datcha will spend her first summer season in the Mediterranean before heading to the Indian Ocean for winter 2020/2021, and finally to Russia where she'll fulfil her purpose as a cold climate explorer offering heli-skiing charters from March 2021.

La Datcha is managed for charter by Edmiston with a weekly rate starting from €740,000.

One of 2019's most memorable launches, Bold hit the water in May 2019 and made her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. Designed in collaboration with Espen Øino, she's a serious explorer with aggressive lines, a low draft, and a top speed of 23 knots - impressive for a yacht of this size.

Bold boasts vast outdoor entertaining areas with a bar and teppanyaki grill, an outdoor cinema and an eight-person Jacuzzi on the sundeck. Meanwhile, her versatile 34 metre main deck can carry an array of toys and tenders, and doubles as a helipad with a helihanger-cum-disco below.

In contrast to her hardy exterior, her interiors are soft and sophisticated with teak and oak panelling, silk carpets, metallic painted features and oak and marble flooring. At the heart of the explorer, there's a 300 square metre skylounge with a media wall for movie nights and 3.75 metre high floor-to-ceiling windows for exceptional sea views.

Accommodation is for up to 16 guests split between eight cabins, including an owner’s suite, two VIPs and five guest cabins, while 13 further cabins allow for a crew of up to 20 people.
