The 36 metre motor yacht Sahana has recently emerged from a thorough refit to convert her from a private luxury yacht into one aimed squarely at the Australian luxury charter market.
To that end, public spaces have been extended to incorporate a huge saloon, dining area and bar, encouraging guests to mix and circulate while ensuring that the yacht’s length remains a good fit for easy berthing and exploring Australia’s national marine parks, including the iconic Great Barrier Reef.
Large entertainment areas are designed to cater to the popular Australian day charter market as well as creating warm, light-filled spaces for live-aboard charter guests to relax together. Sahana sleeps eight guests in four cabins configured as a master suite with a king sized bed, two VIP cabins each with a queen sized bed, and a further double cabin with a queen sized bed and all cabins have full en suite bathroom facilities. For day charters, this yacht for charter can easily carry 70 guests.
Sahana is currently lying in the Whitsundays and will spend the summer in Sydney before undertaking further cruises throughout the region next season.
Her list of water toys and amenities is extensive and reflects the yacht’s emphasis on diving, comprising a dive tank room, dive compressor, six full sets of dive equipment including underwater scuba communications, snorkeling gear and comprehensive fishing tackle for both trolling and bottom fishing. There is also a tender, Freedom inflatable swimming pool and a wide range of towables.
Sahana is available for charter through Bray Management at US$150,000 per week in high season and US$100,000 per week in low season.
