Porto Montenegro marina has completed construction on its marina extension and is now open.
The expansion project has added 150 new berths to the marina, which now has a total capacity of 400 berths for 87 superyachts. The marina is now able to serve the largest yachts in circulation, with berths accommodating yachts up to 180 metres in size.
'This new berth mix will appeal to all ends of the market but especially for super and mega-yachts, which will soon be supported by a nearby state-of-the-art maintenance and refit facility. We are also particularly excited to now offer a rare 180-metre berth,' says Tony Browne, Marina Director.
Porto Montenegro is located in the Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and has received a Yacht Harbour Association 5 Gold Anchor certification as well as UNI EN ISO certifications for environmental protection and quality management. The village features luxury waterfront residences, restaurants, bars, a variety of sports and lifestyle facilities, and the newly opened 5-star Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel.
The marina has also appointed a new Marina Sales Director, Nizar Tagi, who comes from yacht brokerage firm Ocean Independence. Tagi is a keen sailor and has sailed around the world on a 27.5 metre classic Abeking & Rasmussen sailing yacht.
