Graeme Hampson, captain of 73 metre Titania, which is available for charter with Burgess, charts a route studded with lime karst and coral from Phuket to Langkawi

Day 1

Meet Titania in Phuket and settle on board as she makes the 30nm cruise to Phang Nga Bay, which has more than 100 islands and is famous for its sheer limestone stacks. Anchor at Koh Hong –an uninhabited island with jungle- cloaked cliffs and a scenic hidden lagoon – and spend the afternoon swimming and snorkelling.

Relocate to anchor off Koh Phing Kan, nicknamed James Bond Island because it featured in 007 movie The Man with the Golden Gun. Explore the shallow waters by tender to see spectacular cliffs and caves along the shoreline. Drink cocktails at sunset before anchoring overnight at Koh Roi.

From Koh Roi, Titania will move to Koh Hong in Krabi Province. Rock climbers can head to Railay Beach to take on the cliffs (which vary in difficulty), while other guests can tender to Pelay Beach and snorkel in the clear coral waters. Dine on shore at the Six Senses Yao Noi resort in Koh Yao Noi for a farm-to-table gastronomic experience.

Titania will cruise 10nm to Koh Dam, which is comprised of Koh Dam Hok, Koh Dam Kwan and 10 smaller rock islands. Five days before and after each full moon, a white-sand dune and limestone beach is revealed at low tide, connecting the two islands. Spend the afternoon swimming or making use of the yacht’s extensive toy box, before having dinner on board under the stars.

Enjoy the 20nm morning cruise to the Phi Phi Islands, made famous by the film The Beach. Keen hikers can make the tough climb to the viewpoint on Koh Phi Phi Don while other guests snorkel the surrounding reefs, which are teeming with fish. Dine on stir-fried soft-shell crab and deep-fried tiger prawns with thick red curry on shore at Zeavola Resort.

A 35nm cruise will take Titania to the sister islands of Ko Rok Nok and Ko Rok Nai, which are separated by a narrow coral channel. Dive or snorkel for the chance to see clownfish, turtles and blacktip reef sharks. For lunch, the crew will set up a picnic on the white-powder sands of Ao Man Sai Beach.

Spend your final day exploring Tarutao National Marine Park. Titania will anchor on one of the five yacht moorings off the island of Koh Adang. It is the perfect spot for an on-shore barbecue, and there’s fantastic snorkelling over a coral garden just off the beach. The next morning she will make her way to Langkawi. Either extend the trip to explore the Butang Archipelago, or depart from the island’s international airport.
