Superyacht interior design specialists Kevin Glancy and Jonathan Fawcett will be hosting a three-day celebration of craftsmanship to mark the opening of their new showroom in Manchester in June.
The Immerse 17 event will showcase the works of artisans from the likes of Robbe & Berking, Moser crystal, Royal Crown Derby and Begg & Co with craftsman from each brand in attendance to demonstrate their skills. There will also be presentations from Glancy Fawcett’s in-house experts and personal tours of the new showroom, which features a gallery space for exhibiting artists’ one-off works.
The opening of the showroom is a huge moment for the Kevin Glancy and Jonathan Fawcett brands. The product of a six-figure investment, the ten-week renovations marked the first time the brands’ Manchester site had closed in their 30 year history. The result, however, is well worth the effort with the showroom transformed into a one-stop shop for all the luxury attire a yacht could need.
Glancy Fawcett clients can now choose from over 3,000 plates, 2,500 pieces of crystal and 3,000 linen samples, plus the expansion has allowed Kevin Glancy to offer lighting for the first time, with a range of chandeliers and other exquisite fittings on display. The recently launched JF Collection will also be showcased, alongside the renowned brands already stocked by Jonathan Fawcett, as well as new lifestyle areas allowing the companies to highlight the themes and looks that can be created using the Kevin Glancy and Jonathan Fawcett portfolios.
Immerse 17 takes place from June 7-9, 2017 at the Old Engine Works in Manchester. The event is open to the public but places are limited. To register your interest email luxury@glancyfawcett.com.
