U.K.-based luxury yacht builder Pendennis ranks among the world’s most respected superyacht shipyards. With a history spanning more than 25 years, as well as 30 custom yacht builds and more than 200 refit projects launched, the shipyard builds a wide variety of luxury sailing and motor yachts up to 60 metres in length and beyond.
History of Pendennis
Luxury yacht builder Pendennis was founded in 1988 after yachtsman and entrepreneur Peter de Savary acquired a yacht manufacturer and relocated it to Falmouth Docks. David Bentley and Peter Wood joined the management team and later took control of Pendennis along with Henk Wiekens and Mike Carr, who came on soon after the shipyard was founded. The company acquired superyacht builder Devenport Yachts in 2010, renaming it Pendennis Plus, and opened an office in Palma de Mallorca in 2011.
