The perfect 23.5m commuter for Europe’s inland waterways

14 September 2021

For those who like a quick getaway in the quaint canals of Belgium and the Netherlands, or an overnight cruise along France’s network of rivers – this pocket commuter yacht is the perfect companion.

Designed by beiderbeck designs for stylish travel on the European inland waterways, the 23.5-metre Robbe & Berking Classic Commuter is a yacht that combines classic beauty with the latest technology.

Inspired by the great craftsmanship of Robbe & Berking Classic, the yacht has kept within the Freycinet dimensions, a French standard for inland waterways from the 19th century. This means that this yacht can access many waterways in some of the most remote and romantic places and can do so all thanks to the hydraulic rooftop.

For fast passages on the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea, the yacht features a specially designed semi planning hull that allows for speeds of more than 20 knots. Inside, she offers space for up to four owners and guests in spacious cabins with a separate crew area with a crew mess and a professional galley. The owner’s cabin features a sheltered owner’s cockpit.
