With total listings in excess of €420 million, according to BOAT Pro data, brokerage house Moran Yacht & Ship represents some of the biggest superyachts in the business. Here's a rundown of their top ten most expensive yachts for sale right now, starting with Lürssen's Kismet...
Coming in at number one is the mighty 95.2 metre Lürssen Kismet. Built in steel and aluminium to a design by Espen Øino, Kismet was delivered in 2014 and is one of the most expensive yachts currently listed for sale. Accommodation is for up to 16 guests across eight sumptuous staterooms including a master suite with a private deck complete with Jacuzzi and helipad access. A lavish Art Deco interior was conceived by Reymond Langton featuring only the finest of materials including rare woods, fabrics and marbles.
2. Plvs Vltra
Built in steel and aluminium to a design by Tim Heywood, the 74 metre motor yacht Plvs Vltra was delivered in 2016 as the first Amels Limited Edition 242 model. Plvs Vltra can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a master suite on a dedicated owner’s deck. You can even step on board with our virtual video tour here.
With exterior and interior design by Donald Starkey, the 50 metre motor yacht Hospitality was built in GRP by US yard Westport and delivered in 2011. A $2.5 million refit in April 2016 saw her receive a full repaint and her five-year class survey. She can sleep up to 12 guests with accommodation for a crew of 12.
4. Lady May
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship with delivery in 2014, the 46.22 motor yacht Lady May so impressed the judges at the 2015 Showboats Design Awards that she went on to win three Neptune trophies: two for naval architecture and exterior design by Dubois Naval Architects and one for the interior design by RWD.
Built in aluminium by US yard Palmer Johnson to a design by Nuvolari Lenard, the 52.2 metre motor yacht Bliss was delivered in 2014 as the second hull in the yard’s 170’ Sports Yacht series. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins including a full-beam master suite.
Built in GRP by Overmarine, the 50 metre motor yacht Apricity was delivered in 2014. Apricity features naval architecture by Overmarine and an exterior designed by Stefano Righini. Apricity is the eighth hull in the Mangusta 165 series and one of the first to feature extensive main deck windows.
7. Top Five
Built in GRP by US shipyard Christensen, the 47.8 metre motor yacht Top Five was launched in 2005 and is offered for sale fresh from her 15 year ABS survey with a refit in 2018. Top Five can accommodate up to 16 guests across six cabins, including a main deck master suite.
Built in 2005 to ABS class by US yard Northern Marine, the 46.3 metre motor yacht Sorcha has an exterior and interior styled by Setzer Design Group and features a composite hull and superstructure. Sorcha is MCA compliant and accommodates 10 guests in five cabins along with quarters for a crew of nine.
9. Silver Cloud
Built by German yard Abeking & Rasmussen to an in-house design, the 41 metre catamaran Silver Cloud is a unique offering on the brokerage market. She was delivered in 2008 as a SWATH (small waterplane area twin hull) model and went on to win two prestigious World Superyacht Awards in 2009. Accommodation is for 12 guests in five cabins including a master suite.
10. Let My People Go
Built in GRP by Italian yard Riva with external and interior design by Officina Italiana Design, the 26.4 metre motor yacht Let My People Go was delivered in 2013 as a Riva Domino model. An interior in Canaletto walnut with fine leathers and fabrics accommodates eight guests in four cabins including a full-beam master suite.
