Ice-classed and adventure-ready, Safira is a custom, go-anywhere explorer built by Newcastle Marine and delivered in 2013. With a reinforced steel hull and efficient propulsion system she would be well suited to an adventurous owner looking to head off the beaten track.
Despite her hardy exterior, Safira was designed with the environment in mind. Her warm interiors are crafted from reclaimed oak, sustainably sourced sapele wood and stonework offcuts, while her decks are laid with ecologically sound Esthec instead of traditional teak. Safira can accommodate up to 12 guests across five en suite cabins, each decked out in a rich palette of chocolates and taupe.
When exploring warmer climes the sundeck truly comes into its own, housing a Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads as well as curved sofas, a bar and a barbecue. Meanwhile, the upper saloon serves as the social hub on board, complete with a games table and a second bar for cocktail hour, while a formal dining area comfortably seats all 12 guests for when cruising colder climates.
Power comes from twin C-32 Caterpillar diesel engines, which can be fuelled by 15% biodiesel, assisted by an azimut propulsion system so she can venture even further.
